About the Workshop
The Introduction to Reflex and Frax workshop is designed to enable a teacher to immediately get students up and running with Reflex and Frax, monitor progress, and coach students towards fluency in math facts and conceptual understanding in fractions. First, there will be a segment discussing math fact fluency and its importance to student achievement in math. Then teachers learn the importance of each of the three sections of a typical Reflex student session. During the Frax section, teachers will see a sample Frax Mission and identify the pedagogical methodologies used. Finally, they will learn to manage student accounts and review the individual and group reports. Teachers will gain a good understanding of how to support the students using the programs, including the use of classroom activities.

What People Say About Reflex
At the beginning of the year one of my second graders was solving six addition problems in two minutes. That student is now solving 30 addition problems in two minutes. He is also able to solve 30 subtraction problems in two minutes. His fluency started to shoot up after starting Reflex.- Reflex RTI Specialist, Plymouth-Shiloh Local School District, OH
Awesome, awesome, awesome! Reflex is by far the best program out there. All but one of my students scored within the targeted norm range on our district calculations assessment. This was an increase from 50% on the fall assessment.- Reflex Teacher, Stevens Point Area Public School District, WI
Dear Awesome People of Reflex: I just wanted to say thank you for all the math stuff you did for my class. My favorite game is: all of the games. Thanks again for making me stronger and how much fun you made me have.- Reflex Teacher, Riverside School District 416, WA
Every day is a success story with Reflex! The kids LOVE it and ask if they can play every day. Even my kids who are at 100% fluency still want to play and see how high they can get their scores.- Reflex Teacher, Hillsborough City School District, CA
Fluency has always been a struggle because the foundation wasn’t there when learning other content such as subtraction with regrouping. Since Reflex, my students’ fluency is so strong that they are excelling in all areas of math! I am so proud and happy to have found Reflex!- Reflex Teacher, Jefferson County School District R-1, CO
